Teacher's Analytical Skills

I am Mr. / Girgis ( Egypt ).

My analytical skills are the ability to look at information and work out

what is important and relevant to the task or problem in hand. They

require a whole load of other skills including problem-solving, critical

thinking and research.

Analytical skills are the ability to look at information and work out what

is important and relevant to the task or problem in hand. They require

a whole load of other skills including problem-solving, critical thinking

and research.

Analytical skills are problem-solving skills that help me parse data and

information to develop creative, rational solutions. An analytical person

in the workplace focuses on making sense of the facts and figures

and using logical thinking practices to identify a fix.  Analytical skills

are a kind of soft skill, which means they are not technical skills

specific to a certain role.

1-I use my analytical skills across a whole load of subjects at school

or college.

For example, I think about the steps involved in writing an essay in

history class:

I review relevant primary and secondary sources.

We work out the significance and reliability of each source and

compare different accounts.

We use this information to reach an interpretation of what happened

 and formulate your argument.

I extract the most useful quotations to use as evidence to back up

 my claims.

I Structure an essay which presents a balanced account of the

historical event and reflects.

I draw an overall conclusion based on the balance of evidence.

Network With Other Teams

I network with people in roles that I am interested in,” Rice

recommends. “I’ve connected with people on LinkedIn who are

resources for me, internally at my organization I’ve had the

opportunity to learn from our data science, data engineering, &

business analytics team, and I also try to attend events or

webinars that are geared towards analytics to build my

 knowledge and connections as well.”

Learning from people around you can help you identify the

problems they’re working on and show you how they may

solve problems.

Analytics at Work:

Analytical skills help you dig into problems and come out with

facts-based solutions. While some technical skills like data

analysis and visualization are elements of analytical skills,

there are also soft skills like creativity and communication

that are essential to being an effective analytical thinker.

No matter what kinds of analytical skills you have, show them

off on your resume and in the interview by detailing your unique,

informative analytical problem-solving process.

Another Practical problem.

I used analytical skills to solve it collaboratively with my

colleagues using the the American EDX Program which

I learnt through accessing to Harvard University online:

A problem- solution approach

In dealing with our education problems, the American EDX

program, Harvard university, USA :

(Introduction to Data Wise: A Collaborative Process to

Improve Learning & Teaching)taught me the following

steps to solve the problem of poor listening and speaking

skills:

Example:

1-Organizing collaborative work:

We formed a group work to exchange work,

 experience and guide.

2-Creating data:

We did diagnostic tests collaboratively and collected data

using our senses, observation and statistics.

3-Digging into students' data:

We studied data to find the evidence that refers to the

problem reasons and the way of remedy.

4-Finding evidence:

Learners couldn't speak well because of the lack of language

practice and communication. The GTM method(Grammar

Translation Method) that depends on grammar and

translation was not good for learners to use listening,

speaking or communication.

5-Deciding the problem:

Learners were poor at listening and speaking skills.

6-Developing the action plan:

Speaking English through authentic situations, guided

and free practice was the remedy. Teaching rules can't

help learners to develop their speaking skill.

7-Acting and assessing progress:

We started our remedial work plan collaboratively

through focusing on using real situations and free

practice for learners to work in pairs to ask and

answer questions through using gestures, pointing,

acting, CDs, songs, music, games, realia and

authentic material and situations. Assessment

 went side by side.

8-Solving the problem.

Learners became good speakers when they used

and functioned the language.

I can pass EDX experiences, experiences of my study

in England and my work experiences in Egypt on to

my colleagues in the USA.

Yet you don’t need to know multiple coding languages or analytics

programs to show off your analytical skills. You can also show

analytical thinking through how you describe your problem-solving

methods and approach at work.

 Consider:

1-What do you first consult when solving a problem?

Can you talk about any experience analyzing numerical results,

 looking at website analytics, etc.?

2-What steps do you take to make sense of a problem?

3-Who or what do you consult to help you solve the problem?

4-How do you test and iterate your solution?

5-How do you reflect on your solution?

6-What steps do you take after?

Thanks a lot.

I wait for your share, comments and points of view.

Yours,

Mr. / Girgis
